Science
I have science for seventh period. In science we do really fun experiments like finding the mass of an object by useing a scale. Today I heard that we will chew gum for two minutes then find the mass, then chew gum for six minutes then find the mass, then we will chew gum for eight minutes then find the mass. It will most likely be really fun. Like I said in the computers section of my website On Tuesdays i only go to Computers and on Wednesday I only go to science the rest of the time I go to computers then science right after it.
Projects
Glogster: The six characteristicsof life This is a "Glog". A glog is like a poster but you can put videos and links in it you can also put interactive pictures that aren't videos in the Glog; like the chick you see there eating grain off of the ground. The videos should work and I'm sorry if they din't I put them on there qwhile I was on my friends computer at her house and they worked while I was there so I don't know what happened if the ont work. I don't know there URL so I can't put links if they don't work... SORRY! =l

Edible Cell Project

In science calss we did an edible cell project, where the four people at our table would bring a couple different things to include in our cell. We brought things such asgunni worms, cake, licorice, Mike and Ikes, M & Ms, and skittles. There are a couple of things that I learned from this project. The first one is, where every thing in a cell goes. what everything in the cell does, and the last thing is why it is where it is.
I learned where everything went by studying, because we had to know where everything went before we could star making the project. I learned what everything does also by studiying, I did this because my teacher said that she would come around to each edible cell project and ask everyone at the table about the different parts of a cell. The last thing that I learned, why organelles are where they are is also because my teacher said that she would come around and ask questions.
I really think that this project helped me learn more about the cell than just regular worksheets, because you need to the the shape of the organelle in order to get a "food" for it (by "food" I mean candy). I do think that the incoming seventh graders next year should have a chance to do this project because, it is fun and like I said before it helps me learn better than regular old worksheets.
